Aviation Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Aviation Worker (Temp) Can be assigned to airfield OPS or Terminal OPS

When Airfield assigned:

Airport field maintenance employees are skilled employees responsible for specific upkeep of the airport grounds. Applicants must be skilled at following directions and prioritizing needs.

Must be skilled at some of the required tasks and willing to learn. Must be dependable and reliable.

Employees will be mowing airport grounds, picking up trash, and crack sealing runways/ taxiways. Additional task will be added as needed.

When Terminal assigned:

Janitorial and other duties as assigned.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a drug screen, and 10-year background check.

Effective July 15, 2019, the City of Dayton adopted the Tobacco and Nicotine Free Hiring Policy (HR 1.03). Applicants offered employment with the City will be required to pass a nicotine screening.

Newly hired employees must remain tobacco and nicotine free as a condition of continued employment.

Salary: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dayton, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
