Job Title: Assistant Buyer (Temporary)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Buyer to join our team on a temporary basis through the end of the year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our purchasing team with a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and general office support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate data entry and manage inventory records.
  • Upload and maintain documents on our intranet.
  • Utilize Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries as needed.
  • File and organize documents to ensure efficient retrieval.
  • Support other administrative tasks as assigned by the purchasing team.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or support role is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a buying or purchasing department is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with document management systems.
